Recent Work Vic & Anthony’s Steakhouse

New York City / Atlantic City

These very large projects where completed in a very short period of time with many custom accents that only Dovetail Gallery could provide. Many of the custom millwork items included (6) 8ft wine cases that were temperature controlled. Specialized chromed accents and lighted mahogany columns with” larger than” life crown moldings, which brings a classically luxurious atmosphere to the restaurants.

Both new locations of Vic & Anthony’s Restaurants have a distinct individual mahogany species peppered throughout the dining areas, hand installed by Dovetail artisans. The uprights are heavy chromed ribs. Repeating on the same themes the Back Bar boasts heavy shelves, T.V. shrouds, and exotic crown as well as a fully pre-wired assembly for lighting and equipment needs.

From facilities that stand out for their style, to hospitals that inspire with pure audacity. Dovetail is proud to be a team member that worked on UMPC Hamot Womens Medical Center. Dovetails’s work included warm woods and nature-inspired elements, soft color schemes, and cabinetry made for medical usage

UPMC Hamot Women’s Hospital was born, designed to treat its clientele with the care and attention it so richly deserves, with picturesque views of nearby Presque Isle Bay as a bonus.

Dovetail Gallery in conjunction with Cunningham’s architects create a modern area using materials from 3Form, Chemetal, and TreeFrog Wenge. Whether it is wood, metal or acrylic. Nando’s Peri-Peri – DC

Maintaining the individuality of each Nando’s restaurant is why Dovetail has been the Millwork company for 6 Nando’s restaurants in the D.C. area. Also, the honor of working on the franchises 1000th restaurant. Each Nando’s restaurant has its own character which Dovetail accents with reclaimed barn wood and custom finishes throughout the space.

Golden Nugget Casino- Atlantic City

Adding a new dimension to the Golden Nugget Casino Cafe’. Dovetail Gallery was brought on to construct and fabricate a 4 tier light box approximately 200 linear feet. Please check back for updates on this project.

Phillips Seafood -Baltimore, MD

Phillips’ Seafood restaurant has moved to Baltimore’s Power Plant. This will open a new chapter for the popular seafood restaurant. Dovetail’s interior work includes two full custom bars with zinc metal tops. Beautiful dining rooms, romantic booths and a restored stain-glass window from the previous Phillips in Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. The Power Plant location is scheduled to open in the Fall of 2011.

This office was entirely made of wood to resemble a naval vessel. A custom compass worked into the floor and little details which Dovetail Gallery is known for.
